Q1How do I calculate my age for a govt exam form?
Just enter your date of birth. The calculator automatically checks every open Sarkari form on this site, using each notification’s own “age as on” cut-off date and age limit, and shows whether you are in the limit.
Q2What does “age as on 01/01/2027” mean?
It is the cut-off date for the age limit. Your age is counted on that date, not on the day you fill the form. If you are 32 years and 1 day on that date and the limit is 32, you are still eligible; at 33 you are over age.
Q3What is the age relaxation for OBC, SC, ST and PwD?
In central govt jobs the upper age limit goes up by 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PwD (13 for OBC-PwD, 15 for SC/ST-PwD). EWS gets no relaxation. Choose your category above and it is applied to every job.
Q4Is my age counted in completed years?
Yes. Govt forms count completed years on the cut-off date. 25 years 11 months is still 25 years.
Q5Why does each job show a different age for me?
Each recruitment has its own cut-off date. Your age on 01/01/2027 can differ from your age on 01/08/2026, so the calculator checks every form separately.
